Football and blah
So moving on to the Bama vs LSU game, do I think that it was an interception? Well I think that the call could have gone either way an that no matter what was called on the field that call would be the one that was stuck with. I do not think there was enough evidence to over turn it either way. Aside from that LSU would have had to drive the and score again which they did not do the rest of the game, and that leads me to believe that the call would not have mattered.
Anyway we are ATL bound and get our rematch with Florida. I do believe this one will be a much better game than last year. Probably much like the LSU and Bama game was a close thrilling game with a big finish. I hope not though I prefer to blow out Florida and just move on! hahaha We shall see, and maybe my bet with Travis will at least come to pass of a Bama vs Texas game. An I will drive to LA to watch it in person!!!!

We had dancing and singing (no karaoke I know I failed in this department) but I did get some bad mitten even though no one played! Some bamboo furniture and as many friends as I could find, and even made some new ones. All in all it was a blast! I love all you guys and thanks for coming.

Its Finally Over
Deployment is finally over and I am on the last leg of my trip home. We just departed Hawaii and I am currently about 90 minutes away from being where I call home, Ocean Beach Ca. It’s a great little hippie town that made me feel more welcome than any other place in the world that I had been up until going to the Philippines. The Philippines was a really run down country where anything could happen. Most Americans would say that Filipinos do not want to do anything to help themselves, which I suppose to US standards that is a true statement. However they are some of the friendliest, people you will ever meet. You could probably walk into any house you wanted unannounced and be welcomed. They will feed you, make you karaoke with them and probably give you the shirts off their backs if you asked. I know this is a generalization; yes there are some bad folks there as well. I mean some terrorist cells thrive there because of the government’s inability to do certain things. Now that it’s over and said and done I can say that I truly enjoyed my time there and that it was a great learning experience for me.
I look forward to being home and doing things with my friends and family. My brother is getting married soon and I am excited to see the wedding. One of my wife and I’s friends are getting married in North Carolina and another in Cali. Both of which should also be a good time, that we look forward to. We have trips planned to Cabo, just to go relax and this I cannot wait for. My biggest concern right now is getting back on a decent sleeping schedule because currently it’s all fucked up. I have yet to sleep as of right now and I am sure that if I can manage to stay awake today that I will crash hard tonight.
Some other things that happened on deployment, let’s see I got two tattoos. One is my back piece which I have posted some pictures of already but will throw up a completed pic. I have been promising to explain the back piece forever, so here goes. The star on the top is for my mother, she has always been a source of energy and pride for me. The wreath and Wings are for my son John Thomas who passed away a few days after he was born. The purple and blue pearls are for my grandmothers Mavis and Essie (god bless). The lion in the center is for me, with the small lion head for my son Elec. The scorpion is for my brother Tracy, the monkey is for my bother Randy and the Flag is for my brother Dale. The yin-yang is for my awesome wife Holly and the two sides of her (I love both, crazy driver lady)! The three roses are for Love, Friendship and Respect for the loved ones in my life past and present!
The second tattoo is the clover on my chest, which to me is for Luck! Everyone asked me if I am Irish and all I can honestly say is yes on St. Paddy’s day. I believe I have some Irish heritage but I am not a hundred percent on that yet. I am still working on putting all my past together and it’s a pain in the ass! The last thing that I really am bringing back is the fact that I am back in love with dance music and all I want to do is dance. I go through stages but being over there where all they play on the radio is American Rap and R&B. Yes they speak a lot of English and all the Radio stations are in English.
So overall it was a very good deployment, I was busier that I ever was in Iraq and I got to do a hell of a lot more things. I never knew what my day might be like until it was going, so I apologize to everyone for not staying in touch better this time than last, but my days where really crazy. I traveled to multiple spots and got to see a lot of the islands and all I can say is they are beautiful. Now all we need to do is rid them of all the crazy fuckers so that it can truly be a peaceful place because I think as of right now I would like to retire there!
Love everyone can’t wait to see and talk to everyone soon.
