Howdy folks and welcome to another edition of Home on the Range. In this weeks edition I am gonna give yall a little run down on what is going on with good ole Bama. I can hear yall now asking man what the hell do yall do over there and whats the weather like. Well I will tell ya, the real work ie cool shit to do is wearing thin so thus increases the bullshit work. An well the weather you ask, its damned cold over here, I am just waiting on the first snow fall because I know its coming.
Whats that ahh whats bullshit work you ask, ahh well I will try and explain it best I can, but its pretty much all the dirty worthless work that no one wants to do. An usually everyone trys to duck out of it every chance they get. But to put it more simply its mindless tasks of cleaning, picking up trash that has blown in from the neighbors pad and so forth. Its kinda like you know you start to get a little lull and someone sees this and say WTF these people are fucking off for an extra hour instead of working the full 16 we better find something for them to do! Shit like that.
On a better note though I did finish up my book The Footprints of God, and let me tell you that is an amazing fucking book. I loved it and I would recommend it to anyone. An before someone jumps up on a stump and starts preaching to me not to preach to them, it has very little to do with biblical stuff. BUT there is a little bit in there and it gives the book one hellva ring. Full on great read pick up and make sure you have some time on your hands because you will not want to put it down!
What else have I been up to ya ask, well lets see I am working on a new warfare pin some may or may not know what that is but its a pretty big deal in the Navy. I can't really think of anything to equate it to at the moment but ill work on it and get back to you. Also I have been studying for my rating exam in March, because I missed E-6 yet again by 4 points. So cross your damn fingers and pray or whatever it is that you do to give me some damn luck! Cause I reckon I need all of that I can get when it comes to these damn test. I have never failed one yet these fuckers never wanna pay me more for passing it like the recruiter said they would, that sumbitch!
Other than that life is pretty much the same shit different day type. The hardest thing here is to keep challenging yourself with new things (hell just finding new things is a challenge) not becoming complacent and keeping your eye on the horizon. Cause you never know what might happen or when. Anyway as always I love and miss you.
Sincerely,
Bama
